The history of art is filled with good guys and bad guys, angels and devils, beautiful things and ugly things. It was bad that the Cathedral of Notre-Dame burned to the ground on April 15 2019. What was good was the worldwide response to restore it.
Claude Monet created the most beautiful paintings of gardens and landscapes at his home in Giverny. Michelangelo painted an epic masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel. The Tudors employed some of the greatest court painters but had some of the worst monarchs and one of the best. Read More.

Your Instructor
Sean Crum has been a professional artist and art historian for over 45 years. He has a Bachelor of Art Degree from Cleveland State University (1974) and a Master of Art Degree (1977) from Case Western Reserve University. He has received over forty art and educational awards, has been featured in 12 One-Man Shows and has been accepted in over sixty juried shows. His art, pen and inks, paintings and etchings are in numerous collections.
