This quilt is made from one “Jelly Roll” and a small amount of background yardage and a roll of 2.5 inch by width of fabric strips. This design garnered the most votes from the fall class students. Equipment for this class includes a basic sewing machine with a 1/4-inch foot, an iron and ironing board or ironing mat (one or two for the class), rotary cutting set (mat, ruler and cutter) and basic sewing supplies (straight pins, needles, thread, seam ripper, scissors, thread snips). Fabric requirements include one “Jelly Roll” and some background yardage.

Carolyn Brown
Carolyn Brown is a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and quiltmaker. A Baldwin Wallace graduate, she retired from a career in accounting and now enjoys the increased time she can spend on quilting. She has been quilting for 45 years. She has made more than 100 quilts, 40 or so within just the last two years.
