The beer and microbrewery scene is alive and well in Cleveland and around the country. There are so many types of ales, lagers, stouts, porters, IPAs—where do you even begin to explore the options? This class can get you started on this journey or help refine your taste for your favorites. Along with historical background and essential information about beer and beer tasting, speakers from local breweries and Destination Cleveland’s Beer Passport program will be part of the course. The class will also visit two local breweries during weeks four and six (4/30 and 5/14). Class participants can purchase food on their own, if desired, during brewery visits. Details about the schedule, beer tasting and brewery visits are provided at the first class.
