Come join us to see the jewels of Canadian Theatre - Shaw Festival and Stratford Festival. They present an unmatched theatre experience and one of the most popular and sought after tours JKL offers. Enjoy two delightful areas with Broadway-quality shows at a great time of the year to travel as we enjoy the excellence of their shows along with the charm and grace of their respective settings.
We start at Niagara Falls to check into our hotel for two nights with a fantastic & scenic Buffet dinner at the Fallsview Restaurant with a fabulous view of the Niagara Falls area!
At The Shaw, we’ll take in the musical comedy, “Anything Goes,” set aboard the ocean liner S. S. American, where nightclub singer Ms. Reno Sweeney is enroute from New York to England. Her pal, Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Ms. Hope Harcourt, but the problem is Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Oakleigh. Also onboard are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Erma. With the help of elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart. This is a feel-good show where you walk out of the theatre on a cloud.
After breakfast in our hotel, we'll travel to Stratford for time at the charming little town before we attend the matinee, as The Stratford Festival present “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.” This musical comedy tells the tale of Two Con men, (one polished and one NOT,) who work to scam the women of the French Riviera until a beautiful woman enters and the competition begins.
After the matinee show, we’ll enjoy dinner in Stratford before returning to our Hotel in Niagara Falls. After breakfast in our hotel on our last day, we’ll explore the delightful main street of Niagara-on-the-Lake before coming home.
Combine spectacular Broadway-quality shows in the charming Canadian countryside, at a wonderful time of the year to travel and you'll see why this trip sells out!
