In the early 20th Century, Adolf Hitler led the National Socialist German Workers' Party to transform Germany into the so-called Third Reich, which then tried to dominate Europe and even the world. We will look at the roots of Nazism, follow its rise to power and its role in World War II and after.

Brian A. Pavlac is a Professor Emeritus of History from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He has written Witch Hunts in the Western World and other articles and books on European history. He currently resides in Berea.
