Learn how to prevent crime through better understanding of how criminal predators think – and how increased personal awareness can help you avoid becoming an easy target. This course will also cover security measures you can take at home, in your car and while you travel. Special topics include self-defense, internet usage and active shooter scenarios as they pertain to older adults.

Your Instructor
John Kipp is certified as an armed private security officer by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission and has taught courses on personal safety for 15 years. He is also an Ohio Peace Officer Training Administration range safety officer and has served as an instructor and consultant for multiple community and first-responder organizations.
