It is tough to live with any loss, but learning about sorrow can bring comfort, healing and compassion. This class will discuss the complexity of bereavement, give suggestions on how to help friends who have experienced loss and explain the next steps for those who are on the journey.

Your Instructor

Debbie Cerra is a retired Industrial Arts teacher and ordained Presbyterian minister (retired). She has served as teacher, preacher, pastor, retreat leader, grief coach and grief group facilitator. Presently she is grief coordinator at Strongsville United Methodist Church. There she offers groups to help people navigate this uncharted grief journey. Debbie honors her ordination vows to serve the Lord and God’s people with energy, intelligence, imagination and love.
