Aug. 11 “Meet the Teachers” Open House to Showcase Lifelong Learning Opportunities for Adults
The Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) at Baldwin Wallace University will hold a “Meet the Teachers” open house on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026 to highlight its extensive array of affordable courses, plus travel, cultural and social opportunities.
This gathering will take place from 1 – 3 p.m. at Strongsville United Methodist Church,
13500 Royalton Rd., Strongsville. The event is open to anyone interested in lifelong learning and meeting new friends.
Attendees will get a sneak peek at upcoming courses as 11 ILR teachers each give a mini-presentation about their topics. The Fall 2026 season includes 46 courses on subjects ranging from history and science to entertainment and personal wellness. ILR membership information will also be available.
