The Institute for Learning in Retirement invites you to our Book and Author luncheon on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, the luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m., at Baldwin Wallace University's Strosacker Student Union. Located at E. Grand and Tressel Street, in Berea. The dining hall doors open at 11:00 a.m.
At this luncheon we will be collecting new and gently used Children's books for Book Collection for Cleveland Kid’s Book Bank. Looking for new or very gently used books for ages 0-18 (especially books featuring diversity) – board books, picture books, leveled readers, short chapter, hard chapter, teen/young adult Donations will go directly to Cleveland-area kids, many of whom do not own their own books. The mission of the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank is to foster literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children in collaboration with community partners.
